An eventful April

We had a crowded and successful April this year too: we visited many dog shows where our dogs achieved very nice results.

At the first weekend of April, on Easter Sunday we travelled to a CAC dog show to Békéscsaba where the „little ones”, the nine-months-old Balisha and Mammut debuted in junior class. Apart from them, Lara (Lions from Fairy Tale Ariel) also represented our kennel, and their mother, Dotti (Dorothy Diamant von Bergen) came with us too – for Dotti is was the first show since the birth of our B litter puppies. Leonbergers were judged – like last year – by Baffia Zoltán. Mammut was the first from our family in the ring and he got excellent classification and HPJ (junior CAC) title in junior class – he also received a very nice written review, and his movement was identified as his biggest strength, which made us very happy. I’d like to say thank you to Mammut’s owner, Helga for regular trainings, Mammut acted very skillfully and routinely in the ring! His sister, Balisha repeated Mammut’s result: she finished junior class with excellent and HPJ title. After that Lara won open class and got CAC title. Finally Dotti won champion class and gained champion CAC title. Dotti really enjoyed to be in the ring again, and for me it was super to work with her, as if not a year, but only a week ago were our last show. :) At Best of Breed chosing there were three of our dogs in the ring, and Lara received this title! Big congratulations to her and her owner, Kitti! :) One more interesting event happened to us in Békéscsaba: the official photographer of Békéscsaba’s newspaper took a photo of our dogs, and the next day we saw ourselves in the front page of the newspaper’s website! :)

On 18-19th of April we participated in Miskolc Maraton dog shows with Balisha, Alex and Mammut, and Mammut’s owner, Helga also came with us. Within two days two CACIB and one night CAC shows were organised, in highly varied weather conditions, and it was very exhausting for all of us and of course for our dogs – but they (and we:)) were great! There was a great atmosphere in Miskolc, we met a lot of friends and we really enjoyed being there. For the first CACIB show on Saturday we entered all three dogs to judge Hargitai Gábor: Mammut got HPJ title in junior class, and then Alex won champion class with champion CAC. Then at CACIB comparison judge give also CACIB title to Alex. With this CACIB Alex fulfilled the criteria of Interchampion title at the age of only three years! After males came females: Balisha won junior class and got HPJ title. At best of breed comparison there were four dogs in the ring: two junior classwinner and two CACIB winner, so thee of these four dogs were ours, which is a great honour at a national dog show. Judge Hargitai Gábor gave Best of breed title to Alex, who finished a new champion title: he is Hungarian Grand Champion now!
For night CAC show Balisha and Alex were entered. Leonbergers were judged by a Romanian judge, Marian Draganescu: Alex was classwinner in champion class with CAC title, and then Balisha won junior class again and gained her third HPJ title, so she fulfilled the criteria of Hungarian Junior Champion title, at a very young age, she is only 9,5 months old! And another nice result from this show: judge gave BOS (Best of Opposite Sex) title to Balisha, so she was the best female of this show. :)
For second CACIB show on Sunday we entered our boys, leonbergers were judged by Szabó Sándor here. Mammut was junior classwinner and got HPJ title, with this he also fulfilled the requirements of Hungarian Junior Champion title. :) Alex got Res.CAC title in champion class. I am very proud to all of them! :)

On 25th of April we travelled to a national CAC show to Jászberény with Dotti and Mythos, and Lara also came here with here family. Alex and our puppies set the bar high in Miskolc last weekend, by finishing four championships in one weekend, but our „A” litter puppies were even more better: they finished four championships in a day! All of our dogs were classwinners: Lara in open (female), Mythos in open (male), Dotti in champion class: with these CAC titles both Lara and Mythos fulfilled the requirements of Hungarian Champion and Hungarian Show Champion titles, and they are only 28 months old! Lara was Best of Breed, BOS title was given to Mythos. Congratulations to your results, Kitti, we hope nobody can stop you! :)
